2 Kings & 2 Chronicles
Last year I took an Old Testament Survey class and it was amazingly helpful in learning the basics but was we go through each chapter, I realize I want to know more and more. I love history, and while I am confused at first glance with some of the names, charts like the one below can sure help me.
Remember that when they call David someone’s father, it’s a general term of the family line. And that sleep means death in these passages. Last, you’ll see a photo of some of the Old Testament idols that have been found. I can’t even begin to imagine worshipping one of those when we have a Living God.
Here’s another map that shows the divided Kingdom of Judah and Israel.
Here is a new chart showing Joash, Amaziah, Azariah, aka Uzziah and Jeroboam.
Amaziah Reigns in Judah (1-22)
Jeroboam II Reigns in Israel (23-29)
Amaziah Reigns in Judah (1-4)
Amaziah’s Victories (5-13)
Amaziah’s Idolatry (14-16)
Israel Defeats Amaziah (17-28)
