Day 189

2 Chronicles & 2 Kings

When you move away from God, there will be consequences: that’s the ‘moral of this story.’ When we read how Uzziah turned his back on the Lord we want to scream “don’t do it!” and yet that’s not possible centuries later.  But we can take heed and warn ourselves to stay on course, following Jesus, and not the way of the world, leaving our egos at home.

2 Chronicles 26

Uzziah Reigns in Judah (1-16)

Uzziah’s Pride and Punishment (17-23)

Bible in a Year Uzziah and leprocy

2 Kings 25

Bible in a Year, 2 Kings 25 - Fall and Captivity of Judah
