Bible in a Year

Welcome to the Joyful Times Today chronological study of the Bible in a year, complete with inspirational graphics. We’re so glad you’re joining us!

Day 45

Leviticus 5-7

I know that many of you are having a harder time reading Leviticus.  You can imagine how tough it is to find images to share here! But I found some wonderful slides from Slide Share and I know they will help you.  I want to encourage you with this: Please don’t give up.

So much of Leviticus, as I mentioned yesterday, point us to Jesus’ sacrifice for us.  Leviticus is part of the Old Covenant and Jesus brought the New Covenant. I’m not going to go deep into theology here, but just focus on your goal of reading the entire Bible in a year. The rich history like we just finished in Genesis, Job, and Exodus will be back soon. While this part of the Old Testament is tough for us to understand, ask the Holy Spirit to help you grasp what the Israelites were expected to do . . . and praise God we are under the Covenant of Grace.

Keep your eyes on the Lord!
