In his book Know Your Bible, Paul Kent defines Deuteronomy as “Moses reminds the Isaraelites of their history and God’s laws.” After wandering for 40 years, many of the baies that were born during this time are adults and need to hear what God has to say. So, while we read Dueteronomy together, there may be passages that sound very familar. We can count it as a brush up course. Let’s begin!
The Command to Leave Horeb (1-8)
Leaders Appointed (9-18)
Israel’s Refusal to Enter the Land (19-33)
The Penalty for Israel’s Rebellion (34-46)
The Wilderness Years (1-25)
The Defeat of King Sihon (26-37)
