Today we begin reading Judges and we’ll see how Israel’s judges took care of the many problems that the people created as a result of sin. There it is again! Sin began taking hold of the Israelites like it has in the past as they disobeyed God. It’s hard for us to read this and wonder how anyone could forsake God after all He’d done for them . . . but they did.
As we read through the Bible in a Year, I feel you’re part of my “book club.” In order for your comments to show up on the site, I must approve them and it’s fun for me to see you’re still hanging in there. 89 days is a huge accomplishment! I also love how when you get a little behind, you catch up. That shows perseverance and I admire that so much. We’ve had a few people join us late and they may finish up a little later, but it doesn’t matter at all. A year is a year, whenever you begin.
The Continuing Conquest of Canaan (1-26)
