It is really hard to be anything but happy when you are dancing to music that you love. It doesn’t matter what style of music you prefer, moving to the beat puts a smile on your face and a tune in your heart.

There are so many benefits to dancing! One of my favorites is that it releases serotonin in the brain, the happiness hormone. In other words, God designed the brain to reward your dancing with joy!  Look at just some of them here:

Dancing does not have to be on a dance floor or even standing up! You can move your arms to the music, bob your head or tap your foot right where you are. If you are feeling blue, try a little dance therapy for a few minutes and see the difference it makes.  You’ll feel lighter, happier and all around healthier – just by dancing.
