Verse of the Day
I will sing to the Lord as long as I live. I will praise my God to my last breath!
I can’t sing. Well, to be clear, I can sing, but no one wants to hear my off-key voice. In High School, I was in choir my freshman year because we had to choose between that or band. I was placed in the alto section even though my voice isn’t deep. And I was asked not to sing very loudly.
I have no complaints about the request to whisper-sing because I truly am tone deaf when it comes to carrying a tune. And yet I can hear how others sing correctly, and know when they are off key.
And yet: The Lord loves to hear me sing, so sing I will!
