Verse of the Day ~ Psalm 57:2

Verse of the Day

I cry out to God Most High,
to God who fulfills his purpose for me.
Psalm 57:2

Today, I asked God for clear directions. I think this verse of the day was especially meant for me to see.

I’m not afraid to ask anyone for help, but sometimes I try to work things out on my own. And sometimes those decisions are kind of major goofs. Nothing life shattering, just time consuming, and I need to make a sharp u-turn and work my way back to the start of my journey. I know the Lord may have a perfect purpose for me ahead, and I am hoping He sends me a secret code to find out what it is. Okay, don’t start laughing at me ~ but wouldn’t it be wonderful to get a clear signal like that?

For now, I will continue praying, and do what my pastor suggested: start moving and wait for God to step in and work things out so He can fulfill His purpose in me. There’s that word again: wait. I’m getting rather fond of it.
