Verse of the Day
In my distress I called upon the Lord;
to my God I called.
From his temple he heard my voice,
and my cry came to his ears.
2 Samuel 22:7
Our verse of the day is one that brings comfort to me, knowing not only may I call out to the Lord, but He hears me. My very cry comes to his ears . . . they aren’t lost in the clouds or stopped with an invisible boundary guard. The Lord of Creation hears me.
He hears my silent whispers, my loud please, my unspoken confused thoughts deep in the corner of my heart. Nothing gets past Him, and He wants to hear from me on a regular basis.
As I work through the toughest schedule in my life I know I will be calling on Him more than ever to direct my paths and lead me in the way I should go.
