Verse of the Day ~ May 23

Verse of the Day

And I am sure of this, that he who began a good work in you will bring it to completion at the day of Jesus Christ.
Philippians 1:6

God began a good work in me by saving me, and He’s going to make sure He sees me all the way through my life as I live for Him.

At some point in my past, I decided to memorize Philippians, the book of joy. I only got through verse 12 of chapter 1, but I can still recite it, and the familiar words feel like visiting a close friend. Today I am working my way through Philippians in a new way: reading all four chapters every day for a week. By the time the week is over, I will really know these four chapters even better.

If you would like to join me in reading Philippians, here are the four chapters: Philippians 1-4. Let me know in the comments section below if you decided to join me.
