Verse of the Day
Rejoice in hope, be patient in tribulation, be constant in prayer.
What is it about the word hope that makes most of us want to hold it close to our hearts? We seek it and long for it. Our verse of the day tells us to rejoice in hope, and then switching gears, we are told by Paul, the author of Romans, to be patient in tribulation. So it seems when we are experiencing tribulation, it’s a time we hope to be out of it as soon as possible, right?
God has let me go through tough times before, and it’s when I look back that I see how much closer I became to Him, leaning on Him, and asking with hope for those days to be over. The three parts of this verse are a great way for us to live: rejoicing, showing patience, and always praying. We can do this!
